Belief BioMed, an innovative biotechnology company focused on developing cutting-edge gene therapies, today announced that the registration clinical trial (CTR20252461) of its independently developed and produced BBM-D101 injection for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) has successfully completed the first patient dosing in Beijing, China.
BBM-D101 injection, an AAV-based gene therapy, utilizes an engineered capsid to efficiently target muscle tissues. Administered at a lower dose than marketed foreign counterparts, it is expected to offer favorable safety. The IND for BBM-D101 has been approved by both National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of China and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of America in 2025.
