Dystrophinopathy
An umbrella term for genetic disorders caused by mutations in the DMD gene, including Duchenne muscular dystrophy, Becker muscular dystrophy, and certain heart conditions. The clinical presentation depends partly on how the mutation affects dystrophin production and function.
