Accelerated Approval
A regulatory pathway that may allow earlier approval of a treatment for a serious condition based on a surrogate or intermediate clinical endpoint reasonably likely to predict benefit, where applicable requirements are met. It may require confirmatory studies to verify clinical benefit.
